Join us for a beautiful hour of poetry from two of Cornwall’s most celebrated and award winning poets in the stunning St Endellion Church. The popularity of the festival’s regular poetry hour has grown over the years, so make sure you listen in after your lunch.
Pascale Petit’s ninth poetry collection, Beast, published by Bloodaxe in 2025, is a Poetry Book Society Recommendation. Her novel, My Hummingbird Father, was published by Salt in 2024. She has published nine collections, four of which were shortlisted for the TS Eliot Prize. Mama Amazonica won the Ondaatje and Laurel prizes.
Katrina Naomi’s collection, Battery Rocks (Seren, 2024) won the Arthur Welton Award. Katrina is a recipient of the Keats-Shelley Prize for Poetry. Battery Rocks has featured on Radio 4 and been Collection of the Month on Radio 4 Extra. Katrina has a PhD (Goldsmiths) and lives in Cornwall. Katrina has recently won the Holyer an Gof award.
