Arts Council England joins Cornwall Council in support for Endelienta
We are pleased to announce that Arts Council England has awarded us grant funding towards our programme ‘Endelienta – Moving Forward’, which will – alongside the annual support from Cornwall Council – enable us to develop our plans over the next two years (until December 2019)
To read more about Endelienta’s plans for the future, download our new business plan on the about us page, or click here.
The development of Endelienta’s programme needs better facilities for participants and audiences alike. Many local groups would also use enhanced hall facilities for rehearsals and community activities. Endelienta projects for working with schools, youth groups and the elderly would all benefit from the availability of a new, larger, attractive and well-designed hall.
With generous help from supporters of the Festivals and the Church, charitable trusts and other donors, we have so far raised over £400,000 in cash and pledges towards the development of the new Hall. We are continuing to seek additional funding of £100,000, in support of a further application to the Arts Council. Click here to download the Hall Appeal brochure.
Endelienta forthcoming programme: much to look forward to!
Endelienta believes that arts and culture are there to inspire, excite and bring people together. Endelienta concerts in the beautiful St Endellion Church, well known for its excellent acoustics, range from classical and choral music to folk, jazz and story telling. We programme literature events and art exhibitions that enrich people’s lives. The North Cornwall Books Festival, now in its 5th year, is fast becoming an established feature of North Cornwall life. In addition our reflective days explore our human spirituality, often with the arts as a starting point.
The sea and the beautiful landscape of the moor and coast make North Cornwall a well loved place to live or have a holiday. Endelienta adds gems of artistic and spiritual experience to this rich heritage. Explore our events and discover the creative and cultural quality that this region has to offer.
