Poetry in the Making, led by Dr Rowan Williams
Saturday 27 April, 10am-3pm, St Endellion Church
How do poets actually work? What is it that makes poetry what it is ( not just prose cut up into lengths)? In this reflective day Rowan Williams will look at the work of three twentieth century poets (W.H.Auden, R.S.Thomas and Geoffrey Hill), as well as speaking about his own work, to explore what is going on in the actual writing of poetry, especially poetry that looks at themes of faith and doubt.
Tickets £12. Bring a picnic lunch.
