31 March to 8 April, St Endellion Hall
Festival Exhibition: Sarah Bryant, Paintings
For Sarah Bryant painting is a way to express her enjoyment in what she sees and experiences. This can happen in very diverse places and circumstances, including last year’s Easter Music Festival at St Endellion.
When Sarah was invited to be the festival’s first ‘residence painter’, she seized the opportunity to draw members of the orchestra in rehearsal. “I love to watch a player’s stance, the position of the hands and the interplay between hands and instrument. My attention has spread to the choir, audience, and even an exhausted chef, worn out by producing a picnic for the entire company!”
This exhibition shows the striking and colourful results of Sarah’s festival observations, alongside some of her other works.
Also open during concert intervals. Please note that access to the exhibition may be restricted due to music rehearsals in the hall.
