BSO Cake Concert
12 February, 2.45pm – The Betjeman Centre, Wadebridge
During the first half of this year, Endelienta is organising a special project for older people. ‘Music & Memories, A Story in Stitch’ will start with a special afternoon performance by musicians from the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra’s with time for conversations, afternoon tea and cake and music from the Baroque period to the present day.
This event is specifically for older people, people living with dementia and their carers – an opportunity to meet other people in a relaxed atmosphere. Tickets are free, but booking is required, as places are limited. Please contact Katy Luxton, Endelienta Community Project Coordinator, on 07866 986839 or by email to email@example.com
Following the opening concert, Music & Memories will continue with creative workshops in Camelford, Wadebridge and Bodmin, led by artist Janie McDonald. Janie will help all participants weave and stitch their memories into colourful textile artworks. Please click here to download the project information leaflet.
